Hedgecourt Lake

A small lake, overcrowded with people who think they own it. Not impressed at all and the several signs reminding you that it is “private water“ make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The water might be private, but the the road leading to it isn’t! Not impressed at all.

Friendly staff, tranquil setting, well looked after... just need to catch a fish now!!

Great place for a quiet walk

Can be a very pleasant place. There are some nice old cottages and a watermill and a nice walk around via a yacht club. Unfortunately due to its hidden location from the main road it is often frequented by people selling and doing drugs.... The local residents don't seem put off by it which is a shame.

A lovely walk if you're in the area although take care as the road is reasonably narrow and there is a little bit of traffic. Look at the lovely houses. Chat with other walkers. Smile at passing dogs and horses. Feed the ducks, geese and swans. Embarrass the doggers.
