Heavy Sound transforms the lives of vulnerable and disengaged young people across East Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh improving their health, wellbeing and capability by teaching them new skills in music, biking, sports and mentoring, leading them to become contributing citizens with positive pathways to future destinations. Evidence shows that young people who do well in spite of adversity have usually had the opportunity to experience positive engagement with a supportive, trusted adult.
