Haybridge Teaching School Hub

As the DfE designated Teaching School Hub for Sandwell and Dudley, our vision is to build an educational network of expertise with the goal of improving education for all. Haybridge Teaching School Hub aims to be the focal point of an outstanding educational community based in the West Midlands. We would like to consider ourselves the single point of contact for every school across Sandwell and Dudley to find the support they need. In order to achieve the excellence we strive for, our Hub works closely with the Department for Education to deliver the ‘Golden Thread’ of professional development to every school in the region. The Department for Education’s ‘Golden Thread’ of Professional Development is rooted in the highest quality evidence, providing support from Initial Teacher Training through to school leadership. Each stage – Initial Teacher Training, early career support, specialisation and leadership – is underpinned by frameworks that build on and complement one another. These frameworks, each a strand of the ‘Golden Thread’, have been independently reviewed by the Education Endowment Foundation to ensure they draw on the best available evidence.
