I contacted Lee in January to enquire about starting BJJ as a complete novice and I’ve been training with him and the Havant BJJ guys since. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and encouraging, and Lee is an exceptional coach. He breaks down moves in a really helpful way and manages to coach to all abilities taking part in each session. If you are considering BJJ, I can’t recommend Lee and Havant BJJ highly enough. I just wish I’d started sooner!

Great place to train. Felt welcomed and comfortable from my very first lesson. Lee is an excellent coach who leads the class in a professional/experienced yet chilled manner which really helps anyone that may be a little anxious about starting. Would highly recommend to anyone considering BJJ.

I've been training for just shy of a year at Havant BJJ Academy now (on and off thanks to COVID) and can only say I wish I'd joined loads sooner. Lee is a brilliant coach who breaks things down so well and has created a really nice environment for you to train in, regardless of experience. The team are a great, friendly bunch of people who train hard but always make time to share knowledge and techniques. If you're thinking about joining, definitely give Lee a shout and come down - you won't ...

Absolutely phenomenal place to train. Everyone involved in the gym is helpful and gives tips to improve. Lee is a great coach to work under and offers 1 to 1 training to further advance skills. 100% recommend with great value for money.

Lee teaches me in BJJ and has done for the last 2.5 years. I have learnt a lot from and would highly recommend him to anyone! We recently we to a competition and the team bought back some medals (Bronze, Silvers and Golds) thanks to the training. Come down and try it out, you'll never look back!
