Well appointed lodges, really clean, lovely to have beds dressed, grounds well maintained, hot tub was lovely and treated each am. Staff really friendly and helpful, only thing would be more crockery, cutlery and bigger saucepans, it was for 7 people, we were only 4, we managed, but would have struggled to cook for more with saucepans provided. I would recommend.mend this place to anyone who wants peace and quiet, I don't think I would bring children here as not much to occupy them.

Recommend the Luxury Lodge Totally recommend the luxury lodge Spacious seating areas, bedrooms quite snug however very comfortable beds, lovely shower ensuite , and main bathroom also with a shower room - hot tub great. Staff lovely, flexible, accommodating- would definitely return. Lakes for fishing, great sunrise, children’s play area. Welcome items / basic tea/coffee milk sachets- shower gel/ lotion. Managed to get a local taxi to take us a bit further afield. Fantastic family weekend.

Had a great stay. We stayed in a leisure lodge. The living space is fab and the main bedroom is too. The two twin rooms were small, for 3 adults and a child. However, there is a decent amount of storage space. We stayed over Christmas. There was a minor issue with the tub on boxing day. The chap came straight out and sorted it and he was friendly. The location is great. Very quiet and not over crowded. Have booked again for next year .. but a luxury lodge.

Brewers cafe is really well priced, lodges are really nice to stay in also, however there was a couple of points we noticed that could've been better: only 2 cheap toilet rolls in the entire lodge for 4 people staying for 4 days and the hot tub temperature couldn't be adjusted. Also, we couldnt figure the heating out at all, deactivated on the thermostat, boiler turned down to the lowest setting and the radiators turned right down yet it was 31 degrees when we came back after a day out becaus...

This is our second time we've stayed here and although our first experience wasn't the best (given it was a brand new site), the guys helped make this stay better (even though we're now renowned as the 'Soup People') 🤔🤣 The site is vast and well kept, has a bar/restaurant as well as a little play area for the children and a huge grass camping area to play football or other activities. There is also a couple of fishing lakes, a shepherd's hut and some nice pods. The lodge we stayed in (Yew...
