Hallamshire Golf Club

10 of us played Hallamshire a couple of weeks ago and we all agreed it is a fantastic golfing challenge, with spectacular views, superb greens and exceptionally well maintained and laid out. I also left my waterproof top at the course and they left no stone unturned until it was found a posted back to me. This is a must play course.

What a shame. Lovely day only to be turned away at the 19th- members only. We spent over 100 pounds playing. Poor show. We won't go back. Very, very poor customer service.

Top notch golf course and club. The many good reviews very fairly reflect the excellent experience I've just had on a Captains Away Day with Waterton Park GC. The course is amazing and really tough. It beats you up and spits you out but not in an unpleasant way!! The club is also wonderful and not at all stuffy. The staff and food are first rate

First and foremost the staff and members of the club welcome you with open arms and are very hospitable!! This is followed up by the best course I have played all year and one of the best I have ever played!!! Work is being carried out on some of the tee boxes and I would love to come back and play it when these are completed. The fairways are immaculate and the greens for October are in amazing condition! An excellent but tough moorland course - Off the back tees this layout will test even the low handicappers, especially if the wind is up. The tees, greens and fairways are all in great condition.
