Very friendly Stables. Very accommodating staff. Apart from one occasion, I hadn't been riding for approx 30 years & they arranged a one-to-one ride as I didn't fit in with the groups they has organised.

We booked last minute as our granddaughter wanted to go pony trekking and what a lovely warm welcome we got all so friendly and happy to answer all our horse questions, and we had a lovely 1hr hack that we really enjoyed, thank you so much.

Spectacular view over Exeter as you ride through Haldon forest. This stable has exclusive access to the woodlands for a unique riding experience. Leaders took more advanced riders off for a canter. 1.5 hours = 30quid. Calm horses. Highly recommend.

Oh my. What a wonderful place. I took my son for his first proper ride on a horse. We went out for a 1.5hr hack with a lovely lady called Pheobe. Even though my son was very anxious and doesn't instantly talk to new people, she was great with getting him out of his shell. She was very patient and kind and told me what I needed to do (which wasn't much) to be able to get my son going on more adventurous hacks where he wouldn't need to be led. My granddaughter and I have just had an hours trek at these stables. What a brilliant time we had, ponies were lovely and staff were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend these stables.
