Highly recommend Jack and the Hackney Wick Drum Studio. Informal, chilled and very collaborative sessions - moving at whatever pace you need. Definitely a safe space for anyone wanting to try out drumming or improve their level.

We have been so lucky to have found Jack as a drumming tutor in our local area. His open mind and professional teaching style is very effective in driving continuous learning progress. His professionalism and pure passion for music is contagious and will not leave any aspiring musician disappointed! My 12 year old son really enjoy weekly sessions with Jack.

I started with a trial lesson a little over a year ago, with very limited musical background and no expectations. It worked out really well and now these lessons are the highlight of my week! There is a good combination of challenging and enjoyable parts, and I always leave with a feeling of accomplishment and a desire to play more. Jack is an excellent teacher and his feedback definitely helped me improve.

I had a great time learning the drums with Jack. Having never even picked up a pair of drum sticks before, after 2 lessons I felt confident playing a few grooves and by lesson 4 even jazzy stuff! His talent and enthusiasm is inspiring and makes lessons fun and engaging. The pace of the lessons is perfect and the studio is great! I’d definitely recommend :)
