  1. Knows about relevant and current issues/controversies in immunisation

  1. Can effectively communicate with patients, parents, carers and others about immunisation

  1. Understands the legal aspects of immunisation

  1. Follows correct procedures for storage and handling of vaccines

  1. Able to reconstitute and administer vaccines correctly

  1. Able to manage anaphylaxis and other adverse events appropriately

  1. Correctly documents and reports all vaccines given

  1. Able to identify and implement strategies for improving vaccine uptake
