1. Comprehend Diabetes Fundamentals: Understand the pathophysiology, types, risk factors, and complications of diabetes.
2. Perform Point-of-Care Blood Glucose Monitoring: Develop proficiency in using blood glucose monitoring devices and interpreting results for patient care.
3. Administer Insulin Safely: Learn various insulin administration methods, including injections and insulin pumps, while ensuring proper dosage calculations and patient education.
4. Manage Hypoglycemia and Hyperglycemia: Recognise and manage hypo- and hyperglycemic episodes through appropriate interventions.
