Gs Avanti Cycling Club

GS Avanti is an excellent club, and as advertised, very friendly. You'll find a great mix of people and a ride to suit all abilities: the social side of the club is good too. Highly recommend if you are looking to join a really good cycling club.

I joined in 2017 after a few years of riding solo. I was a bit nervous about joining a proper cycling club, and wasn't sure if I was "good" enough but they have rides for all levels and are a very welcoming bunch. I'd definitely recommend coming out for a test ride and give it a go.

After many years shunning cycle clubs, I finally decided to bite the bullet a couple of years ago. I made a good choice with GS Avanti. Not only is it local to me, but is a mature club with rides for all levels. The rides are so varied (one of the benefits of living in the North Downs). Now I really look forward to riding in group rides with the social and motivational element that brings.
