Great Gaddesden Cricket Club

We had a great game of cricket. The great Gaddesden players are honest and fun to play against. They insured that the game went ahead,despite heavy rain the night before. Enjoyable social cricket culminating in a few pints after the game in the local. Excellent day

Lovely cricket ground

My cricket club, the Washington CC from North London has been playing friendly games against Great Gaddeston for many years now. It'a one of our favourite fixtures. The pitch is consistent and the outfield is very well cared for. We've always found a warm welcome, and the game is played competitively and fairly in the spirit of cricket. Teas are excellent and after the match there is an excellent pub across the road called the Crown and Sceptre.
