Great British Woodshop

Learned a lot from David! The wood working and joinery skills learned would really take my DIY to the next level. It was great learning to use all the power tools in the shop and building a fully functioning table that seems sturdier than most off-the-shelf coffee tables on the high street. Would definitely recommend!

Wish I had found this course sooner, it was excellent and would highly recommend. I wanted to find a course that wasn't just cutting and gluing wood together. We used a mitre saw, drill press, router and a jigsaw. David taught us how to safely use each tool, demonstrated it and then we did it ourselves. We made this amazing serving tray from scratch and David was keen to help us make it look perfect (which I was very grateful for!) David was super friendly and knowledge, an excellent teacher...

David is an excellent teacher with a lot of knowledge to share. He takes you through a fun and educational journey and lets you get hands on. I attended the basic woodwork course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great place to start my journey. I will definitely be attending more classes and would highly recommend.

After doing 2 separate day courses on foundation joinery and using that newly acquired knowledge to build a chair , I feel like I've come away with even more than I expected. David has many years of practical woodworking experience and that really shows. I'd never used machine tools before and now I feel confident using a table saw, jointer, band saw, router and thickness planer to prepare and joint timber. I was due to take the ultimate power tool course in April but it got postponed along with everything else. Course reinstated in June and I thoroughly enjoyed it. David was very knowledgeable and flexible which allowed me to more or less decide what tools I wanted to focus on.
