My son loves his lessons here, attending three times a week. He was made really welcome right from the start. Despite the very physical nature of the sport, the atmosphere is one of respect and friendliness. The classes are really well supervised and the coaches are very approachable, taking the time to get to know each pupil and their needs.

Jamie is a outstanding coach! My son was welcomed onto the mats by Gabby and Nate, and now looks forward to every session with them and Jamie. It's been great to watch his journey into jiu-jitsu and his confidence learning techniques grow. It's great watching him have fun and put them into practise.

The high rating speaks for itself, I can only echo what the others have said. GB Huddersfield is a fantastic place to train. Jamie is a great teacher and has a good way of explaining the techniques so they make sense but sparing no detail. The classes are well structured and the students are friendly and welcoming. Clean mats, great partners and good vibes all round. I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better place.

Fabulous - run by a team of genuine "encouragers" who make sure you leave every session feeling you've improved, learned something and had fun... which if like me you're a 44 yr old, female and tad unfit helps greatly. Also great that the team includes a woman instructor/coach besides the main black belt instructor. The people at Gracie Barra Huddersfield Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are absolutely brilliant, the whole team are helpful enthusiastic and just really nice people to be around, the level of training is outstanding and more importantly, fun for everyone concerned.
