As someone who went as a child, and now as an adult - best site, better staff, magical place and the modern additions are fantastic!

I have stayed here in the past with a school I worked at in Manchster. The house & the bungalow are great. It’s good that the children are allowed on do life skills activities. Make their own beds help to set and clear tables (with adult supervision). Going out on various different outdoor pursuits activities & splitting into small groups depending on abilities.

Good, experienced, friendly instructors. Modern refurb of rooms, yes it's basic, buts it's not a hotel, it's more akin to a youth hostel. Lots of rooms with space inside, generally under bed storage. A few minutes walk from lake Windermere. Pods come recommend, can sleep 4, very modern, with under floor heating
