Short two-hour workshop making a lamb - around 6cm in length.
The course cost includes all materials and refreshments.
Held in the Furzie Workshop - set in the beautiful Somerset countryside on Bowdens Farm, near Langport. The workshop is in a converted farm building with its own kitchen and bathroom facilities and there is plenty of parking on site - please ask if you require special access parking.
Due to the use of sharp needles the course is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

Although it has its roots in a centuries old form of cloth making, needle-felting is a relatively new art, an off-shoot of industrial felt-making from the nineteenth century. Woollen fibres are bonded together using specially designed barbed needles to form a firm material which can be made into 3-D shapes.
No! We use a wire armature frame in the models which immediately helps you with proportions. You will be gently guided through the entire process. Relax and enjoy - you only have yourself to please.
No sewing (or glueing) involved. You will be amazed how the fibres bond together with just a little stabbing.
