I've been struggling with back pain for nearly a decade. I've tried NHS physio, private chiropractors and an endless list of things I've found on the internet. Ultimately the only thing that worked was anti-inflammatories to deal with the pain day to day and benzodiazepines to handle spasms. Stuart was recommended to me by a friend last September and since my first appointment I haven't taken a single tablet for my back pain. Stuart is knowledgeable, experienced and determined. My husband was struggling with pain from an injury, so we contacted Stuart and he has been brilliant, I couldn’t fault him or the service he’s provided. Stuart was professional, thorough with his questions so he could understand what the problem was, he’s clearly knowledgeable and experienced, and my husband is no longer suffering with any pain. My husband lives with dementia so new experiences can be difficult to navigate but Stuart was very gentle and understanding. I would totally recommen...

Stuart helped me with long time shoulder tendon problem, loss of strength and pain moving. Nothing seemed to help. A few 'no nonsense' sessions and I was so much better, I was able to go back to boxing training which I had been really missing. Stuart is a humble character with a rich wealth of knowledge if your willing to heal and put the work in. Good man, great service

Stu at Functional Movement is an awesome physio! Having previously seen other physios for chronic issues which I have suffered from for years, it was refreshing to speak to someone with a no-nonsense but friendly approach who got straight to the root of my problems. I'm already seeing results from the work we've done after only a couple of sessions, and he's also passing on invaluable knowledge to me about how to properly look after my body so that the chronic problems I've had don't reoccur....
