We booked a family surf lesson, great value, our instructor was Marco, great lad and excellent, communication, gave us a lot of time, board and wetsuits included. My two teenagers loved the lesson, my younger daughter found it hard but did not give up and managed to catch waves and stand up. Great first experience, all still talking about it. These guys are amazing, totally recommend.

Took myself and my 11 year old to summerleaze to try surfing with Freewave Was nervous before going as I'm 40.. but was soon put at ease. The experience was superb. Massive shout out to Emily ( ask for her she's amazing, knowledgeable. Challenging and offering advice throughout.. But with my 11 year old he was put at ease and she had patience for him In the end we were both standing..and riding the waves we will be booking again

Friendly instructors and plenty of time in the water. Widemouth is a lovely beach, not too deep and plenty of good waves. There was a guy offering photos of you catching some waves (or falling off) which was great, he took some lovely shots of us.

We had an excellent 2 hour SUP lesson with Robin, I highly recommend. It was my first time paddle boarding. Robin was calm natured, patient and gave us the confidence to stand up early on in the lesson. It was very relaxed, he was not pushy and gave some extra challenges if you wanted but no pressure. We paddled up the canal for about a mile before turning back. The canal is a great place to learn as the water is calm and sheltered compared to the sea.

Joined a couple of lessons with Robin over the weekend, and it was perfect. As a fella in his 40s I was worried I'd missed the boat with learning to surf, but Robin's guidance helped me to stand and build confidence. Really friendly and easy going, and a great teacher. Will use again to keep advancing. 100% recommend!
