  • Not the worst riding school. The teaching I have experienced is very slow. I started riding at another stables for 1 year before covid and in that time improved massively from complete beginner to attempting small jumps. I was at folifoot for a good few months and learnt very little there though I had hoped to quickly pick up what I had previously learnt. (I do know it takes time and practice to improve but we were not challenged at all in lessons) Every single lesson was the same- some walki...

  • Follifoot is the best riding school ever. My daughter has been riding for 5 months and she could not ride before and now has her rising trot. She is mostly instructed by Olivia or willow and on stable management she is with millie and they are all so kind I would recommend going even just to spent time with the horses. She loves follifoot Park riding center.

  • My daughter has been learning to ride with Lisa Mitchell at Follifoot for nearly a year now. Lisa's lessons are varied and fun with the education alongside about the horses as individuals, why and how their riding techniques communicate with the horses to become competent riders etc. Lisa packs in loads of activities in a half hour lesson which means children are actively engaged and learning every minute. We look forward to Fridays every week with Lisa, we think she is fabulous. Thank you Lisa

  • Follifoot is a great place to learn to ride and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff and horses have been amazing and have got me so much further than I ever dreamed I could get when I decided to start riding again as an adult. Now my niece has the riding bug too and goes for weekly lessons there. The yard has great facilities too, lovely hacks in the countryside and friendly competitions (I never thought I would compete as I get so nervous!)

  • After 35 years of not sitting in a saddle I decided to return to riding. I now goto Follifoot on a Monday morning for an hours lesson. Lisa our instructor is brilliant, keeps us working hard and improving our skills. The other ladies in the class are great, we all support each other. I have ridden a variety of horses which is good for development. Everyone I meet on the yard is very friendly and helpful. I would fully recommend them.
