When I first started working with Simon, I struggled with efficiency and good technique in running. Simon analysed my running technique and helped me to break down individual areas to work on. He made everything simple and was always positive and supportive! Simon also coached me and set my training plan for my ultra marathon training, leading me to successfully complete Country to Capital and Pilgrim’s Challenge, a two-day stage ultra marathon. I highly recommend working with Simon!

As an older runner that only started from scratch about 7 years ago, I wanted to be sure that my running style would not cause injury. The aim is to be able to continue in some capacity forever. I also wanted to be able to increase my pace. Simon was brilliant, always encouraging and quickly identified ways I could improve posture and running style. Amazed at the difference from the video but also with my new PB’s 🙌. So glad I did this.

When I started with Focused Running my aim was to be able to run better and to help avoid injuries. But aswell as helping me to adapt my running style he also encouraged me to get to a half marathon distance which I had previously thought was unachievable. Over the last 6 months I have worked with Simon to improve my running technique whilst following a bespoke training plan. I feel fitter, heart rate has lowered and my speed increased so I am now ready for a targeted marathon. I would highly recommend Simon to any runner who wants to improve their technique, fitness or prepare for a running challenge.

I can't recommend Focus Running enough. Over the course of 6 month's, Simon's coaching improved my Running technique that in turn improved my endurance. I was able to run a lot more efficiently. All of my stats improved and the training plan Simon put together for me was brilliant. Simon is very professional and his passion for Running really motivated me during my training.
