  • I had the 2 month one-to-one training with Lauren for my dog. We were having trouble with my dog being reactive to other dogs, particularly on lead. He would bark and lunge and we used to spend a lot of time crossing roads to avoid other dogs on walks. Lauren taught me so much about my dog, how he was feeling in certain situations and how we could help overcome the problems we were encountering. She listened and understood and taught us many techniques which have now completely transformed ho...

  • I have had a few sessions with Focus Dog Training and each class has been well structured, informative and fun. My border collie puppy firstly found her feet at a series of group puppy classes where we learnt some great techniques to maintain focus and begin having the confidence to explore the world safely. She’s then progressed to going to some group sessions outdoors to hone in on skills to ensure she can safely be off lead, meet other humans and dogs calmly and learn some fun games whilst...

  • We can’t recommend the team at Focus highly enough! We took our 12 week Lab puppy to the Puppy Course and think we learnt more than him! Rather than just learning basic commands (sit, stay etc.) we learnt about the psychology of a puppy, why they react in certain ways and how to understand and train behaviour. This course would benefit anyone with a new puppy! Really insightful and great fun - Alfie now loves his pub blanket!

  • Focus Dog Training has really helped our rescue dog Chilli to develop and become happier and calmer. The team are all empathetic, practical and hands-on - their expertise is applied to you and your dog specifically, to help you achieve results. We’ve had 1-2-1 sessions as well as attending weekly classes, which give us a chance to learn new skills and socialise the dog. I’d recommend Focus to anyone.

  • I took my 12month old cocker spaniel for 121 lessons with lauren because she was nervous of other dogs, which would effect her recall, and she pulled like mad on the lead! We did 7 sessions and Lauren was patient and informative the whole time. We learnt lots of games to help build confidence and engagement which worked really well. I’m so happy we did this! We’ll continue to see Lauren & Rachel at the dog classes to keep building Nova’s skills. Would happily recommend. Picture of our tired p...
