It is slightly strange having climbing with trampolines and a kid’s ninja warrior course. The kid’s parties at the weekend are loud. Also the opening hours are dreadful. This place isn’t really there for the climbing community if it’s not open most mornings as so many climbers meet up during the day. And alas the coffee (for a climbing centre) isn’t great, the woody is tiny and there’s very little training equipment. But putting those gripes aside, the bouldering itself is as good as I have s...

Rad gym, really spread out and a lot of climbing to be had. It has a really impressive extra long boulder section called the beast. Pretty much a sport climb but without the need for a belay. So good for getting into a nice rhythm.

Flashpoint Swindon is a great bouldering centre that is part of a trampoline park and Clip 'n' Climb franchise - which means it's ideal for family visits! Me and my partner went for the adult taster session this evening to have a new activity to try. (We had never done anything like this before) We were greeted by Joe when we got there who was very conversational and so lovely! He made an effort to go past the usual customer service chit chat and made us feel so welcome! We were then introduced to our instructor Tori who was so warm and welcoming from the first hello! She went above and beyond to make sure we really understood what we were doin...

Probably one of the best bouldering centres that I've been to so far, and I've had a chance to visit quite a few. The walls are stunning, the boulders are challenging, the woody is great and the Beast... Well, the Beast is SO worth the drive, no matter if you're driving from Bristol or from Scotland. So so so good. 10 out of 10. Oh, and absolutely amazing coffee (Thanks Ash) and delicious cakes!
