  • I joined Fitness50 following retirement in order to get a little fitter following many years of very little exercise. A year later, I feel fitter, stronger and much more flexible along with having more energy and also being able to sleep better. I have also lost a stone in weight without trying and lost a dress size which is nice!   • I joined earlier this year in February and have improved my overall strength and fitness losing weight as well. Being a keen cyclist I have noticed an improvement in my cycling with increasing strength in my core and also aerobic fitness. The sessions are well run in a friendly and helpful way. I certainly wouldn't of known how to use the equipment properly without their input. Thank you Shane and Kathryn.

  • This gym has changed my life. My energy levels have increased, my fitness and strength has grown. I’ve lost some weight and feel great! A really warm and inviting gym for any ability. Kathryn and Shane are so friendly and helpful and I’ve made some really lovely friends too. Highly recommended.

  • I joined the Fitness 50+ gym to gain some guidance on what Exercise I should undertake to improve and maintain strength whilst entering into my 50’s. The sessions are excellent and varied. The atmosphere is excellent and as well as Shane and Katherine the owners and fitness consultants the other gym goers have been very welcoming. If your over 50 and feel it’s too late to join a gym, then think again and just go for it. I’ve lost weight and feel stronger and look forward to every session!!

  • I joined Fitness 50 about 5 months ago to improve my fitness and to lose some weight. I feel so much better than I did and really enjoy attending the three sessions a week, it’s not like a normal gym. Shane and Kathryn are always there to support you both with exercise and diet and it’s a very friendly atmosphere as well. The sessions are varied and tailored to you personally. I have never liked gyms but I love this one! I would thoroughly recommend you try it and you won’t look back.
