Silk Lantern Painting Workshop for all Levels.

Description

Create a beautiful silk painted lantern with a unique personalised design. Learn how to outline and draw using cold wax and then how to apply steam set dyes. You will be learning the traditional Serti technique and a variety of painting techniques. We will be outlining our designs and painting the silk and then assembling the lantern. The day will begin with an introductory sample piece before progressing onto your chosen design. The day package includes all materials, refreshments and a light lunch. You will enjoy learning in a peaceful setting in my garden studio, The small groups ensure that you pick up the skills quickly with expert guidance.
