Ferndown Forest Golf Course & Toptracer Driving Range

Played here 7/3/23 : always drove past this place and never had chance to play. I managed get finished early on a job, rang clubhouse and someone answered straight away. I was concerned the course may be closed due to the rain overnight and in the morning but was informed the course was open. Driving Range Bay 16… what a joke. I’m not the best golfer in the world, that’s why I’m here, but I think Tiger himself would struggle to aim out of bounds right to avoid the whomping willow taking up the width of the bay. Even when you can sneak it through the branches, guess what? the TopTracer doesn’t pick it up and you’re back to square one. Just an utterly crazy oversight. Very friendly staff and members. The course is improving all the time. Well worth visiting. The food in the bar is very good.

Lovely course!. Very helpful staff in the pro shop, driving range and facilities are great. Course let me down today. Wasn’t very well looked after, maybe it’s the time of year, but the greens were covered in acorns and leafs, twigs, branches and divets.. fringes were slightly long but I can live with that, I don’t expect the green to have more obstacles than the entire course. Felt like I was better off playing crazy golf at times. Think it’s a harsh but fair review, I’ll be visiting again n...

Went here as wanted to play somewhere new. Was impressed with the pro shop and the other facilities when we arrived. Unfortunately that's where the good points end. The layout of the course is absolutely horrendous with tee boxes yards away from greens and golfers on different holes playing shots over each other.
