Charity event at the Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club. Well run with an Adnams stocked bar! Very enjoyable. Is also open to the public.

Good morning, Its a great place to sail, at sea, or on the delightful river Deben. Could we provide a video for people to view our club activities for people to publicly see what we do. Sailing is a great sport for all ages, so an action film of people having fun afloat, on yachts, dinghies, and powerboats would be ideal. And we need to encourage more people to get involved. Social meets, for example FFSC walks as recently suggested are a great idea, particularly as these events provide time...

Very friendly club with great facilities. Good range of classes race on Wednesday evening during the spring, summer and autumn, with some racing at weekends and a lively youth sailing section. The club is ideally placed at the mouth of the Deben meaning if the conditions are not suitable, members can sail in the relative safety of the river. If it all goes pear shaped, the worst that will happen is you could get washed up to Woodbridge, which isn't a bad thing. :-)

I hired the club for my birthday party a while ago and it was such a fabulous night. Bar steward and galley looked after us very well. Great club, offering some great facilities e.g. dinghy sailing, Try sailing days, nice bar and galley, Art at the Ferry and social events. Members make you feel very welcome. Would recommend highly to others. Thank you.
