We go to The Shay to watch Halifax Panthers. We are Leeds Rhinos fans but on Sundays we watch local championship matches and Halifax is one of our favourites. The ground is low key compared to Headingley but that is part of its charm. It is a great ground with grass roots folk running it. It is a brilliant ground albeit we watch rugby not football. It is a great Sunday afternoon

Great football club. Good day out, good result for The Shaymen.

Superb facilities. Food a tad expensive, never any non-alcoholic beer in supporter's bar. (Come on!) Real community feel to the place and proper football to see. None of the Premier League prima donna theatrics rolling around on the pitch! Brilliant experience-love it. Our time is coming!
