Farrington Park

This gym is so great. My personal trainer, Kathy, has helped me so much and gives me endless confidence and motivation. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming that someone like me who was so 'gym-shy' feels really good about going, and I always come away buzzing!

I visited here for lunch a few weeks ago with some family members and my two year old. I was a bit apprehensive of going with the little one, as I've visited some golf clubs before with such strict policies in regards to dress and kids. I'm heavily tattooed, but I do dress smart casual to tone it down a bit, so I had the anxiety of being judged in the back of mind, but this place was so welcoming and the staff were so friendly, it was just like visiting a smart pub restaurant more than a golf...

Lovely course, driving range and facilities, definitely going to make it a routine to come here.

Although one may not be a golfer, this is still a good venue for those wishing a good inexpensive lunch with a decently kept ale, with some fine views whilst enjoying them (there is a midling good wine list also) This reviewer was there to join a small group of like minded souls to have lunch (the 'Surprise Pie' was excellent and lived up to the name) and to watch the Lions go one up in the first of three Test matches against the South African Springboks. Myself and my husband were both really impressed with our lunch here today. The restaurant is clean and relaxing, the service was great and the food was delicious. We shared squid in panko for starters, then had a burger and jacket potato for mains. The portions were generous, it was presented beautifully and it all tasted amazing.
