They may be in the most ugly building in Newcastle, but the Explore life-long learning sessions are fantastic. Such a wide range of topics (arts, science, history, sociology, and more) and a welcoming atmosphere. The lecturers (regulars and guests) are all experts in their field and really engage with the audience in an interactive way.

Cermic imports into Western Britain in the 5th and 6th centuries seems, of the face of it, to be a dry topic.
