Used to be a great place to walk your dog. Just don't venture onto the path or you may be ran over by one of the many cyclists who think this is their race track, and that they neither have to ring their bell to warn you of their presence or slow down. I say this as a cyclist who has the courtesy to slow down to walking pace as i pass pedestrians and their dogs. For the people!! Locals fought hard to stop this becoming another building site. They did a fantastic job. Fields looking great now, we love taking the boys there & they love the outdoor space it offers.

Eastern Fields is a beautiful green space in an urban area. It has been used for informal recreation for generations.It is a home for wildlife and a place where people can walk and meet in a tranquil environment, and children can play ball games and build dens.There is massive development on this side of the city and green space will be even more needed, but the city council is planning development on Eastern Fields too.We want to protect our field for ourselves and for future generations and...
