Such a great local resource! I've tried a few of the larger commercial gyms in the area but never stuck with them for more than a few months. Excel is different. I've been regularly attending for 3 years now and still feel energised and motivated. Anthony has a great setup and the people who attend Excel are so supportive. It's the perfect place for those who are experienced lifters to those who want to give weight training a go for the 1st time.I would highly recommend

I have been attending this gym for upcoming 3 years and seldom miss a session. Anthony is a great coach who wants to get the very best out of his clients and will tailor your workouts for specific needs. Because this is a small gym with maximum permitted numbers, there’s great camaraderie between members ( new and existing). Highly recommend if you’re wanting a consistent approach to training. There’s also opportunities for group events such as team participation in Strongman competitions.

Whole different experience to your average gym. Great trainer, camaraderie and gear. Have been going for 8 months and am enjoying every single session. As others have said, caters for a variety of interests and goals, and as an, erm, older client, I always feel well guided and welcome.

I have never been into fitness and always thought going to the gym was very daunting. I started Excel around a month ago and I am absolutely loving it and I am now working up to 4 sessions a week. The small groups are fantastic and everybody is so friendly and supportive. The sessions are split into two, firstly, weight training focusing on technique and you really feel an improvement with weight being added each session.
