Eskimo Blue Pottery Studio

Brilliant studio and lovely people, I’ve learnt so much since starting 4 years ago - I’d 100% recommend if you’re thinking of trying pottery / want to take up a new hobby. Everyone is so welcoming and Charlotte is lovely and helpful and will really help you make some amazing things whether you’re there for 6 weeks or 6 months!

I joined the Eskimo Blue pottery studio sessions about 7 months ago as a complete beginner. I had never done any pottery before and had always wanted to have a go. Charlotte shows you how to get started with the basic skills and then helps you to make whatever you want to attempt. I’ve attached pictures of a couple of things I have made in recent weeks, which I never thought I would be able to do. It’s a really nice social environment, getting to know different people and learning new skills.

Pottery sessions at Eskimo Blue with Charlotte are both relaxed, and informative and a joy to be a part of, definitely a highlight of my week. The studio is full of wonderful ceramic pieces to inspire and or purchase and Charlotte goes out of her way to make every potter welcome, guiding each person individually with skill and encouragement. Charlotte made myself and my partner incredibly welcomed on our private lesson! Its opened up the potential for evening classes in our near future, getting to know charlotte in a very relaxed environment has left us wanting another session! Couldn't recommend enough 11/10

I’ve absolutely loved doing the pottery courses at Eskimo Blue. I was bought a course for my birthday and since then I’ve signed up for further classes. Charlotte is an excellent teacher, she is very enthusiastic and gives brilliant guidance whilst leaving you to be creative. There are no unrealistic expectations in these classes.
