Played a society day at Erewash Valley Golf Club excellent day out. Staff and members friendly and welcoming.
Played mid July during the heat wave, course in good nick, very challenging course with a variety of holes, especially Valley par 3's (4+5).
Well worth a visit and return
A course that has an outstanding signature couple of holes. The famous Quarry Holes that appear from nowhere. A blind hole called O'er the Trees gives you a clue about the hole. The 18th is over water par 3 and can be a challenging end to your round. Playing it in the Summer it is a good track in Winter I don't know about. It hosts several opens every year so keep a look out for them either on the club's web site or Golf Empire. The club house is ok with a good selection of drinks and food. ...
