Epsom Golf Course

a lovely view of the whole of south london. on a clear sunny day you get to see the shard

This can only be described as a walk by. Impression was of a community golf course. Whilst golfers approached the green by the roadside, people with dogs were literally crisscrossing the "fairways" whilst the players played their shots. Interesting, considering the danger of flying golf balls! The view from this vantage point is Panoramic with London being the main scene. Behind us is Epsom racecourse. Quite a contrast. Good weather to thank for the view.

Nice and really great view

Beautiful views from car park, looking over the Downs across golf course, however, didn't feel exactly safe, walking through the golf course, even on designated paths & despite the golfers being extremely respectful. Felt like we were trespassing even though it's permissible to walk through on the paths. The golf course is quite extensive with the Epsom Race Course is next to it. Didn't attend golf course, but sat on the beautiful downs, so calming and so high!! Great fresh air in lock- down and good walks at distance. Often go for a break!!
