English 121 Tutoring

My year 10 daughter attended tuition with Clare for half a term, to help her understand the requirements of the English Language Paper. Clare was very professional and helpful and my daughter achieved the grade 6 she had been hoping for.

Clare managed to fit us in for tutoring in the lead up to the GCSE’s and started working on how to answer the questions and exactly what the questions were asking. My son gained confidence and went into the exams much more prepared. He has passed his GCSE’s and we cannot recommend Clare highly enough, thank you.

We can’t thank Clare enough for the support she gave to our daughter during her GCSEs. Clare taught her in a way the school weren’t able to and enabled her to really understand the question and what the examiner would be looking for in her answer. We our certain our daughter would not have achieved the grade she did without Clare’s support.

Our granddaughter passed her English Language GCSE last year with Clare's expert help and encouragement. She benefited from and enjoyed Clare's lessons so much that she continued and has just sat her English Literature exam. Thanks to Clare, she is now more confident in her ability and really likes the subject.

Clare has tutored my daughter in both English Literature and Language throughout her GCSE course and has been invaluable.
