Encounter Cornwall - Aka Paddle Cornwall Sup

We had a Stand Up Paddleboard lesson with Phil this afternoon & had a really enjoyable time. Having never done it before we had an introduction on land and were soon out on the water and getting the hang of paddling kneeling down. The moment of truth soon came with the standing up bit! We both managed it and before long were out paddling in the Fowey Estuary. Amazingly we did manage to stay dry for the full lesson & got to try out Phil's ocean touring board too. Both in our 60's ...... neve...

Went out with Oscar and Olly today. They were simply great - really welcoming, willing to share their knowledge and passion for the local area, adaptable to the speed and desires of the group, ... You couldn't ask for more.

Amazing experience. These trips are more about enjoying the stunning estuary and the nature. We have been on eight tours in the last four years and seen kingfishers, seals, redwing, curlew, starfish, jellyfish, kestrels...the list goes on. The river is calm which makes the paddling easy, the instructors are great and the trips tend to revolve around a short stop on Fowey or Lerryn. Highly recommended!

Our visit was fantastic, well prepared and very well managed. The instructors were extremely kind and interesting as well, it was so much fun chatting to them while heading down the river. Equipment was fantastic as well, everything felt very well done!

We went kayaking on a beautiful sunny afternoon and had an amazing time! The owners are so friendly and gave us lots of good tips about where to go. The river is beautiful too and there are lots of places to explore. Can't wait to go again! Highly recommend
