3 day mixed media mosaic playshop

Description

Come and unwind, relax, and have fun re-connecting with your innate creative gifts through the process of making mosaics, 'Peace by Piece' 

Enjoy 3 inspiring days - August 19th, 20th, 21st - Times: 10.30am - 16.30pm daily,

experimenting with various ways of using colour, pattern, tone and texture in your mosaic. Practice basic cutting techniques using mosaic nippers and cutters, and understand more about the various adhesive applications. 

Plenty of recycled china, glass, pottery, shells, crystals, beads, old jewelry, small stones, and pearls to inspire your process.

The invitation is to give ourselves some time to slow down and gently explore our creative potentiality through making mosaics using loose line design and moment by moment mosaic process. 

You are welcome to bring any of your own gathered treasures/broken crocks, old china etc that you may like to use in your mosaic. 

No previous experience needed, just a willingness to explore in curiosity together. 

One to one support is offered throughout the day within a supportive small group. (Approx 8 students)
