Emily Found a Thing, an inspiring mix of unique and playful pieces designed and crafted from found things. The Emily Found A Thing studio is based in Ludlow Shropshire, the makers are Rachel Grevatte who studied art at Bretton Hall College in Yorkshire, she is also a teacher and has worked in museums and galleries. Jim Grevatte has a background in sculpture and is an independent museum curator, their experiences in working with collections and passion for history and craft have merged to form Emily Found a Thing. “Our work at Emily Found A Thing transforms old, broken and discarded things into beautiful and unique handmade pieces that we hope will be treasured. Every item has a story and a history and is one of a kind. The objects we make and the spaces we curate stimulate thought, conversation, creativity and fun.”
