I have trained with Ely Wing Chun 9+ years. It is a great club, friendly atmosphere, a great teacher who explains the history of the lineage of Wing Chun, what the moves are used for, then practicing the applications. Martial Arts can help with confidence, discipline as well as just being a great way to get out of the house and enjoy some exercise / self-defence with other likeminded people. Great Club, highly recommend.

Fantastic class, great class members, atmosphere and teaching. I would highly recommend Ely Wing Chun to anyone thinking of learning a new martial art or returning members.

My son and I went to Ely Wing Chun to learn defence and spend time together. We ended up learning patience, new skills, confidence and yes defence in the art form Bruce Lee made famous. Sifu Rich and our friends at the club are welcoming and amazing at their ability to give support when needed. It's a journey that takes time but like anything is worth the effort. This review should have been written sooner and 5 stars doesn't cover how we feel about the club.

Martial arts are a great way to keep fit, build self-confidence make new friends. The Ely Wing Chun club is a great place to train and Sifu Rich a fantastic instructor skilled in both Wing Chun and Yang Tai Chi.

I have trained in martial arts for over 20 years and have attained black belt status in 2 lineages of Wing Chun and Tae Kwon Do. I have also trained in jui jitsu and judo. I have been fortunate to have trained with many excellent martial artists and instructors over the years. I can say that sifu Rich is one of the best instructors I have trained with, and is by far the best martial arts instructor in Ely (of any style). Wing Chun is an effective self defence system, it is not reliant on size...
