This is the official website of Edinburgh Renaissance Fencing Academy (ERFA). We research and train in an authentic style of 16th century European swordsmanship. You can find more information about this ancient form of fencing elsewhere on our website. We regularly recruit new members, so if you are age 18+ and would like to learn our style of historical fencing you can also find details about our weekly fencing classes and membership scheme in the section on Our Classes.
