I’ve been training here for almost a year. The class and sensei are great, friendly and welcoming for beginners or first timers. The open collective and the way people inspire and help each other when training makes it a thriving environment for learning and progress.

Been attending the classes for about a year. Ben, the instructor, is excellent and strikes a great balance between newcomers and old hands. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their fitness and meet nice people

Been going for slightly more than one year now. It's an amazing martial art, very complete and practical, with a great teacher (sensei). The dojo is super beginner friendly where the proper time is taken to teach and hone the basics, and the people are awesome, everyone is super friendly and there's people from all over the world so you get to meet them and get to know more about their countries and their culture.

Highly recommend the best self-defence martial art Shorinji Kempo. The branch master, teachers and senior people are highly skilled and understand all the techniques and philosophy. I’ve been coming to the class about 4 years and am always happy. A good mix of gents and ladies of all each levels. The venue is clean and spacious.

I have been training at the East London dojo for about 5 years. Initially, it was intimidating joining a martial arts class so I brought a friend. However, everyone at the dojo made me feel welcome, and now I have made great friends who make me feel that I’m a part of the Kempo community. The class is really diverse with a good balance of genders, ages, and different levels of experience. The training is challenging, but a lot of fun.
