Drum Base

My son has been learning the drums remotely with Drum Base for around a year. Alex builds great rapport with his students and has a very well thought through and structured approach to learning, which works really well remotely. He teaches the core skills and then applies them to popular songs which my son really enjoys. We have been going to Alex for drum lessons for several weeks now and my son has been thoroughly enjoying them. Alex provides clear instructions and explanations, is very patient but most importantly makes the lessons fun. My son has made noticeable progress and this has motivated him to practice and improve further.

Would definitely recommend Alex for drumming lessons. My 13yr old daughter started lessons less than a year ago when she had never hit a drum and is now playing the drums along to tracks. He is patient and has a great way at encouraging her to play well and even to practice regularly at home. The studio is brilliant and really comfortable to sit in as a parent during the lesson. The whole set up is great and really professional.

Lovely guy, really puts my daughter at ease (she was nervous the 1st couple of times). He's adamant you stay in the lesson with your child (the last private teacher wouldn't allow me to stay with her so we didn't stay with him for long!) Fantastic set up of kit and room. We physically attend the lessons, however, I believe he also does online lessons. She's learned more in 7 months with Alex, than in 2 yrs with her school. Very well structured lessons.

Drum base is the perfect recording environment. Alex, the owner, is very knowledgeable and has great equipment. Its friendly and relaxing and Alex has that rare talent of really getting the best out of you as a performer, and then transforming that into a recording with great sound and vision. Highly recommended.
