Good bar even if not a cricket fan.

Great place to walk the dog, or cat:)! Rugby and cricket practice takes place certain times of the week and many cricket games are played so don't walk on the cricket pitch or you'll be batted out 🤣👀

Now they have Captain Bob at the bar, it has improved no end. The square will always be slow, and the outfield has never been rolled so bobbles and touch rough. Big ground so all you modern day snowflakes best eat your greens like mum says. Clubhouse needs some money spent, a small lottery win to create a deck area out front as a raised veranda would be great, as would creating a second pitch and evicting the rugby club. Happy thoughts 😜

Maldon RFC, a fantastic ambassador for the sport of rugby union, great atmosphere, unrivalled hospitality, lovely club staff, orbably the most witty and generous president of a rugby club in the entire country. Great fun to visit and support this wonderfully community-oriented organisation. They may only occupy a relatively low league status but make up for it by punching well above their weight in terms of their successes on the pitch and developing the game for the good of all.
