Dorset Sup Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Great first session of paddle boarding for myself and my 14 year old son. Matt had us standing up and paddling in no time. He’s also very knowledgeable and gives good clear instructions - what more would you want from an instructor? A thoroughly good guy too! Booking was also straight forward. Looking forward to our next SUP session, now we have the fundamentals and a degree of confidence. Good job Matt and Dorset SUP!

Had my first paddle boarding lesson with Matt this week and was up on my feet very quickly! Matt is a great instructor who helped me learn all the basic skills I need to feel safe tp get out on my board. Very patient, explains everything clearly and takes it at a pace that works for you. Even felt competent enough to join the social paddle that evening. Great bunch of people who made me feel v welcome and an added bonus was that I stayed dry.

I had my first 1-2-1 lesson with Matt today and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Matt was a fantastic instructor and gave me some great tips on how to improve my technique which I can't wait to go practice. Not only is Matt a great instructor, he really puts you at ease so it feels like going for a paddle with a mate. Having decided to give paddle boarding a try we found Dorset SUP online. We met Matt at Tickerton tearooms and had a fantastic intro into the activity up and down the river around Christchurch. Matt was really patient, helpful, making the lesson enjoyable keeping us both upright and most importantly dry!
