Discover Paddling

I had never done paddle boarding before and had wanted to for a long time. I am so pleased I choose Discover Paddling. Mike was really friendly and explained everything really well. Saul Junction was beautiful and the water was calm and safe. Being early April it was a little chilly. I was fine as I had a wetsuit and waterproof jacket but Mike lent wetsuit trousers and warm coats to others in the group at no extra cost. We had a fantastic hen do session with Mike. It was the perfect balance of paddling and fun and games set in a beautiful and sheltered location. We had quite a mix of abilities and everyone felt supported and encouraged. Kit was great, and there was a fab pub next door for lunch! Highly recommended.

Booked a session of paddle boarding at Gloucester Historic dock for myself and 3 teenagers. I had never done it before. Mike gave some great first-timer tips and instructions. It was good to have a tour of the docks and play some games. I managed to stand on the board a lot of the time and loved it. The kids haven't stopped talking about it. Fantastic experience, well looked after and would not hesitate to recommend. You couldn't be in safer hands.

Truly amazing experience from start to finish. Mike and Grace were very knowledgeable instructors giving just the right amount of information. We had the most amazing session with Discover Paddling! We booked it as my hen activity and it was the perfect thing to do - it was simultaneously active and engaging but also really relaxing to be on the water.
