A great course. Covered all the basics, just the right mixture of theory and practice that taught confidence with the bees. Ash was patient, knowledgeable, helpful and practical throughout. Thoroughly recommended!

Had a great time on the three session course, gained so much knowledge on bee keeping from Ashley who is very patient and a excellent tutor. I can't wait to put everything I have learnt into practice and get my hands on some bees.

I attended the first One Day Course and found it totally immersive from the start. Ashley's unbounding knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for everything 'Bee' is infectious. He is an excellent communicator, theoretically and practically, sprinkled with a little bit of humour and mischievousness. I found it totally fascinating and a thoroughly enjoyable day. For any would 'bee' enthusiasts its a must! Thank you Ashley.

Fantastic Beekeeping Introduction day with Ash of Dartmoor Beekeeping. Ash is a great teacher; engaging, practical working with the bees & encouraging everyone to get involved and learn about these wonderful ladies (and the drones lol) We reviewed the bee lifecycle, carried out hive inspections, got an overview into possible diseases and even practiced marked a drag-queen! Inspiring, offered an intimate insight into the wonders of beekeeping - thank you Ash. Highly recommended.

What a brilliant course this was. I knew absolutely nothing about bee keeping before. Now I have a solid foundational level of knowledge and would feel confident to set up my first hive. Ashley has a vast level of knowledge. He delivers it in an easy to understand way and in simple progressive steps. Highly recommend this course for the content and the relaxed style of delivery. The bees were incredibly well behaved too. Thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill.
