Fantastic lesson with Jo this morning, excellent teacher and we learnt lots. Really helped build confidence and learnt lots about body positioning, cornering techniques and braking techniques. Perfect pace of teaching. Will definitely return once we’ve consolidated our new found skills.

Pre-booking was straight forward enough and we collected the bike at 1000 hrs. as arranged. My friend, who hasn't riden any bicycle for more than 20 years, was given clear instruction on how the E-MTB operated and we set off to enjoy a morning riding around Whinlatter Forest. 75 minutes in, the bike's battery ran out of charge! Hired 3 Electric Hardtail mountain bikes for a day from Cyclewise at Whinlatter for me and my teenage sons. Great experience all round, online booking was easy, the bikes were great, Specialized brand. It was our first experience of e-bikes and we were glad of the power! We wouldn’t have enjoyed the day as much with normal bikes, it enables us to do the circuits multiple times and the steep hills were no problem. A lovely place to cycle, well maintained trails, bikes to hire for most ages and well priced. Brought the family along to do the blue trail. Even my 6 year old managed the longer blue trail. (10km) Will definitely visit again to take on the red and black routes.....!
