Crowsmill Craft Centre C.I.C.

Crowsmill is amazing. I was on a 12 week course. I had a great time and it really helped with my depression. The staff are caring and kind. There is a friendly atmosphere. I learned new skills and did things I couldn't dream of. It's hard to describe how impressive Crowsmill is.

Fantastic provision - hugely worth supporting. Great woodburners too. Unique.

The idea is good but the execution, no so much. Limited activities to do, and long periods of time with little meaningful interaction from the staff. A fair amount of sitting around with that "is this it?" feeling.. Money would be better spent elsewhere on something fulfilling.

I went to an open day in June, I was warmly welcomed in and shown around, it was very inspirational seeing the young people fully focus creating different personal wooden items, using drills, sanders and supported by trained staff. They had a Blacksmiths, animal care, gardening, a garden area to relax and have quiet time and much more going on. Very impressive place, supporting people to be creative, a very unique place. Thank you.
