Cowdenbeath Football Club

Treated very well. Nice to meet some old faces 😀

We travelled 750 miles to see a Scottish Cup game because my son has a soft spot for the club, not the most up to date stadium, racing track around the pitch, old toilets, no beer at all! But fans were nice even though the team was a bit poor!

Opened in 1917 the ground is also used for stock car racing as well as football so spectators can be set back from the pitch a little its largley an open stadium although there is seating available on one side of the ground the ground was also used for Greyhound racing too for a spell from 1928 til 1965

Cowdenbeath fc. Managed to nip in here while working in Fife, so here's a few photos of the Blue Brazil. I noticed they do the naming of steps like Raith Rovers.

Great value, excitement, diesel, thumping crashes, .....bring a old blanket to sit on, another to wrap on cold legs. Job done.
