The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a stone therapy massage specialist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a stone therapy massage specialist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty or complementary therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a stone therapy massage specialist including, three mandatory units covering the following: applying stone massage therapy, health and safety and client care. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and massage products. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to prepare the body, use a stone heater and place stones and provide relaxing massage treatments using basalt stones and a variety of techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

Moving & Handling Refresher training is mandatory for all staff who are physically assisting clients. What will my staff learn on this Course? Moving & Handling Refresher training is for staff who have taken part in a M&H Induction course within the last three years, or, have taken part in a M&H Refresher course within the last year. It allows those with the responsibility for the testing and inspection of electrical equipment to gain a qualification suitable to their job role. The qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required to inspect and test items of electrical equipment in line with the latest edition of the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. Learners completing the qualification will have the ability to carry out mandatory responsibilities within the workplace depending on their prior electrical knowledge This level will suit you if you are looking to become involved in, the inspection and testing of electrical equipment. To successfully complete the qualification learners will have to sit an Evolve on-line test comprising of a 50 MCQ and a practical assignment. This qualification aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding on Electric Vehicle charging equipment installation. This 2 day course provides expert guidance on EV charging equipment installation, an important emerging area which is not covered in detail by the current edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) or the IET’s Guidance Notes. Aimed at experienced electricians interested in understanding a wide range of equipment and systems available, this course applies to the specialised installation requirements of electric vehicle charging equipment in domestic dwellings, on-street locations, commercial and industrial premises. The course provides detailed guidance and recommendations on all aspects of the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment from the origin of the electrical supply, through distribution and final circuits, installation of the charging equipment itself to the cable between the charging equipment and vehicle’s electrical inlet. Also included are related issues of site layout and planning and subsequent inspection, testing, certification and maintenance of installations. Why take this course? Currently there is an increasing demand for new electric vehicle charging points but too few installers to roll them out. This is already a booming market which is due to get much bigger in the near future. The number of public charging connectors and locations has increased by 38% in the past 12 months and is expected to continue at that rate for years to come. Entry Requirements There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however we do expect you to meet the following requirements: Minimum age 18 years old (mandatory) Must be able to demonstrate the following competencies Be able to correctly install and terminate: pvc/pvc cable (twin and earth) Steel Wire armoured cable (swa) Be able to carry out an initial verification (inspection & testing) on an electrical installation and complete the necessary paperwork. Please Note: These competencies are required for the assessment and are not taught as part of the course. It is also recommended that you are up to date with your wiring regulations.

Your risk assessments of First Aid needs may well identify the need for Emergency First Aiders at Work (EFAW) either as an addition to your First Aiders (3-day), or where your Company activities are low risk. A lot of our Clients have requested this course as extra cover when working on construction sites or similar works covered by the Principal Contractors trained site first aiders and for smaller works. Aims To give a basic knowledge to help you deal with any Emergency First Aid at Work. Course Content • Responsibilities and reporting • Assessment of the situation • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Resuscitation and AED (defib) • Heart attacks • Bleeding • Minor injuries • Choking • Shock • Seizures. Prerequisites None - The course is intended either as an introduction or as a refresher. Assessment Delegates will be required to pass a multiple-choice test at the end of the training. (In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of about 3 hours, although this is not mandatory). Certificate On successful completion of the course, all delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
